The container buyer's playbook.
What size container do I need?
A 6m container holds 33m³, a 12m high cube holds 76m³. Compare footprints, pallet counts and door heights before you buy.
New vs used: which condition grade?
One-trip containers are factory fresh. Cargo-worthy units are inspected and CSC certified, with cosmetic marks from sea freight.
Do I need a permit for a container?
Permanent structures generally need municipal land-use and plan approval. Construction-site offices are usually exempt. We supply submission drawings.
How much space does the truck need?
Plan for 18m of straight access and 4.5m vertical clearance. Overhead cables, low branches and steep driveways matter.
How do returns work?
Unused stock containers can be returned within 14 days; a 15% handling and transport fee applies. Faults are collected free.
Can I pay over time?
Asset finance from R25 000 over 12-36 months, subject to credit approval. Rent-to-own is available on selected units.
